Walakiri Beach

Within a short distance with a car, you reach Pantai Walakiri which is famous for its dancing Mangrove Trees and Grilled Seafood.Best time to come is just before sunset.

Waimarang Waterfall

Pristine natural blue pool which you can enjoy to yourself.Best time to go is in the morning to have the waterfall and its pool to yourself.

Warinding Hills or Piarakuku Hills

Sumba is famous for its hills. The hills tell two different stories through their colors during the dry and wet seasons. Best time to go is during sunrise and don’t forget to bring a Sumbanese Fabric (Kain Sumba) for your photos.

Sandalwood Horses

Sumba is famous for its own breed of horse, Sandalwood horses. Don’t be fooled by their smaller stature, they are one of the strongest and fastest breed there is out there. During the month of August, in East Sumba they run a horse race where you can take in the festivity like a local.

We didnt stay overnigh, just spent there full day in the restaurant/bar. Staff was extremly friendly and helpful, food was one of the best in Sumba. Resort itself was clean and well organized. I would definitelly stay overnight next time. Super isolated location by the long beach.

Everything is a fully amazing package. - The manager is very care for the guest stay and the staff are super delicated and friendy. - The vibes is so tranquil, knowing that the resort located at a very quiet beach. Its far from the main road, but well thats what we are looking for, a peace and calm place - Food is so tasty! Try the Ikan Bakar, its super ????Overall, I love my stay at Tanoma and will definitely come back againThanks to all the Crews ????
